Based in Eugene, Oregon, Razia is an award-winning professional belly dancer who has dedicated a decade to
the development of her art. With captivating stage presence and a bewitching smile, Razia artfully blends the
passion, precision, and joy of Middle Eastern dance into each of her performances. Combining modern technique
with an old soul, Razia is inspired by years of study with top belly dance artists in the US, UK, Canada, Europe,

The High Desert Bellydance Guild is pleased to present Razia in workshop and
performance at the Old Stone Church, Saturday, October 18, 2008.  Recently back
from several months of study and performance throughout Europe, Razia will be
sharing her 'favorites' in workshop from 1-3 PM and headlining the evening show
which begins at 7 PM.  The workshop and show are open to the general public and
will feature many talented dancers and troupes from throughout the region, unique
shopping, music, and delicious food!

Razia's back from London and has so much to share with you! Based on her recent
studies with top belly dance artists from the UK, Europe, US, and Egypt, Razia has
designed this workshop to feature her newest favorites in dance technique,
travelling combinations, and ''aha'' moments. Expect to be inspired!
