Ianthe has 30 years’ experience as a performer, teacher, choreographer, and troupe director, specializing in costume design and finger cymbals. She is the award-winning director of The Desert Harem Dance Company, featuring “The Desert Divas." She is also Vice President of The Middle Eastern Dance & Culture Association of Portland. Ianthe hosts the annual Goregeous Belly's Competition.
