Sahara's Dream is a cabaret-style bellydance
troupe located in Central Oregon. Sahara's Dream
sponsors several workshops, haflas and evening
shows per year to promote learning and community
building. Sahara's Dream is directed by Sahara, who
began bellydance classes with Karlana in the early
80's. She was a member of High Desert Rose Belly
Dance Troupe in the late 80's-early 90's. She won
several catagories in Northwest competitions
(specialty - sword, intermediate and semi-pro). She
teaches locally and promotes bellydance events.
